Jacie Maske

Jacie Maske, 58, of Marinette, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021 after a hard battle with Covid Pneumonia. 

Born Feb. 28, 1963 at St. Joseph Lloyd Hospital in Menominee, to Glenn and Dorothy (Djupstrom) Maske, she was a lifelong area resident and graduated from Marinette High School in 1981. She held various jobs starting as an Activity Aide then moving to Dietary Aide at Whispering Oaks Care Center. She then worked at Super 8 Motel as a Housekeeper and Night Clerk before working at WalMart in the Produce Department. Most recently she worked at Johnson Controls in Marinette. 

A member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, she sang in the Choir in her earlier years. She was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and knew the stats of any player. She enjoyed miniature bowling at the Marine House Tavern and when younger enjoyed bowling big alleys with the Monday Night Women’s League. She was also on many dart teams for the Marine House and Pete’s Walk In. 

She adored her great-nephew, Collten and spent many hours with him watching him play his games, work his construction outside and sitting around a bonfire. Halloween was her favorite holiday and she enjoyed dressing up and decorating the yard to the fullest. 

Survivors include a brother, Gary; three sisters, Robin, Marsha and Sandy, all of Marinette; nephews, Adam Sinks (Tricia Konz), Matthew Sinks (Lacey Gilligan and her children) and Luther Sinks (Michelle Ruggles); niece, Holly Giese; great-nieces and nephews, Kadin Sinks, Makayla Sinks, Keilyn Sinks, Austin Ruggles, Collten Gilligan, Serenity Sinks and Dezereah Sinks. 

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by many aunts; uncles; cousins and both sets of grandparents. 

Visitation will be at Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home in Marinette on Saturday, Dec. 4 from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. A luncheon will follow the service at the Alibi Bar on Main Street. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery in Marinette.
