CRIVITZ – Many of this year’s special Holy Week services for the Catholic parishes of St. Mary of Crivitz, St. Augustine of Wausaukee and St. Agnes of Amberg will be held in St. Mary church at 808 Henriette St., Crivitz.

This includes the Holy Thursday Mass at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, Good Friday Service at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 29, Easter Vigil Mass at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 30 and Easter Mass at 8 a.m. Easter Sunday.

There will also be Masses on Easter Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, 507 Church Street, Wausaukee, and at 11 a.m. at St. Agnes Church, W8031 Wright Ave., Amberg.

Easter food may be brought to St. Mary Church for blessing prior to 4 p.m. on Saturday, and anyone wanting holy water blessed may bring clearly marked containers to church before that time and leave them on the steps at the St. Joseph side of the altar, which is the right hand side when you are looking at it.

Contrary to information published last week, no services will be held at St. Mary Chapel on Boat Landing 8 Road west of Crivitz. The chapel has been closed for some months and no services will be held there until further notice.

St. Agnes Church will host a Spring Polka Party on Sunday, April 14 after the 11 a.m. Mass until 2 p.m.
