Helen M. Peterson

Helen Marie (Evens) Peterson, 96, of Pembine, passed away Friday, Oct.15, 2021 at Maryhill Manor in Niagara. 

Born Nov. 21, 1924 in Harrietta, Mi., to the late Marion and Lucille (Votaw) Evens, she worked at Bethel Children’s Home in Kentucky, Northland Missions Camp, Bair Lake Bible Camp, Spring Hill Camps and Lake Lundgren Bible Camp, where she enjoyed her time there. 

She was a sweet person, a complete servant, loved everybody and touched many lives. 

Survivors include two sons, Ralph (Judy) Peterson and Bill (Alice) Peterson; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. 

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; a daughter, Donna and five siblings, Richard, Donald, Mildred, Willard and Max. 

Family and friends are welcome to attend Northwoods Chapel in Pembine from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 23 with Pastor Fred Barribeau officiating, followed by burial in Pembine Cemetery. Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting the family with arrangements.
