Frederick J. Haberland

Frederick James Haberland, 59, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Monday, May 29, 2023 at his home.

Born Jan. 1, 1964 in Milwaukee, to James and Darlene (Kristek) Haberland, he married  the former Renee Young at Brown Deer Baptist Church on June 7, 1997. He served as Associate Pastor at Country Bible Church in Wallace, Mi.

He enjoyed salmon fishing, smoking fish, hunting, being in the outdoors and spending time with his Church family, discipling others. His family and dogs were very important to him and looked forward to his visits with his family from Illinois. He loved taking road trips with his mother Darlene and they were inseparable.

Survivors include his wife, Renee Haberland; his mother, Darlene Haberland; two sisters, Debra Mae (Garon Hayward) Haberland and Sherry (Randy) Duffrin; three nephews, Dustin James (Marguerite) Haberland, James Duffrin and Richard (Katie) Young III; two nieces, Angela Duffrin and Jennifer (Mark) Matuzak; his mother-in-law, Dottie (Jack Teal) Wagner and a brother-in-law,  Richard (Kara) Young.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Haberland and brother-in-law, Randy Young.

Visitation will be held at Country Bible Church on Thursday June 1 from 2 p.m. until time of the Funeral Service at 5:30 p.m., with Pastor David Buckley officiating. Burial will be in Cedar River Cemetery. Anderson Diehm Funeral Home of Stephenson is assisting the family with arrangements.
