Donald Engel

Donald “Don” Engel, 92, of Wausaukee, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2022 at home.
Born Oct. 25, 1930 in Goodman, to the late John and Adeline Engel, Sr., he served in the United States Army and was a life-time member of AL #294 of Hartland and member of the VFW in Armstrong Creek/Goodman.
He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, going for longs walks, but especially dressing up as a clown and being pulled by a red fire truck while he was on his skis during the 4th of July parade. He was a people person and loved talking to everyone.
Survivors include his daughter, Darlene Koser; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Including his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Fern; a son, Donald, Jr.; two daughters, Mary and Susan and four siblings.
Burial will be in Village of Hartland Cemetery at a later date. Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting the family.
