Deloyd J. Lindstrom

Deloyd J. Lindstrom, 99, of Menominee, Mi., formerly of Daggett, Mi., passed away at The Harbors Assisted Living in Menominee, Mi. on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021. 

Born Feb. 16, 1922 in Marinette, to the late John and Esther (Swanson) Lindstrom, he served in the United States Army Air Corp. from Oct. 8, 1942 until an honorable discharge on Nov. 26, 1945. On June 29, 1946, he married Ella Mae Rabitoy in Daggett, Mi. and she preceded him in death Oct. 2, 2010. He worked for Schlitz Brewery as a supervisor retiring after 33 years in March of 1981. 

He was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church, Mid County VFW Post 5966 and volunteered for 22 years with the St. Frances Fire Department and Rescue Squad. 

Survivors include a son, Daniel (Erika) Lindstrom of Waukesha; two grandsons; five great-grandchildren and a sister, Carol Lyberg of Rodgers City, Mi. 

Including his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Mae; a daughter, Jean Anderson; seven brothers and two sisters. 

Private family services will be held with burial in Stephenson Township Cemetery. Anderson Diehm Funeral Home of Stephenson is assisting the family with arrangements.
