I feel fortunate as a Ward 8 resident to have a quality Alderperson candidate for the upcoming election. Tom Karban is one of the most informed, community minded people I know. Tom truly cares about his neighbors and the residents of Marinette. I believe he has the willingness to spend his time and effort for the greater good of his community.

Tom’s willingness to help others is evident with his goals as an Alderperson. His fresh ideas and plans are not self serving, but rather community minded for the near future and for generations to come. I see this as a reflection of Tom’s character, his willingness to listen to the concerns of others, and an indication how he will serve us all.

From competing in Ironman competitions to being a Herb Kohl Teacher of the Year, Tom excels in all his endeavors. I believe his past successes were not accidents. His successes were attributed to his work ethic and determination to excel. Tom will go above and beyond the call of duty as our representative because that’s just who he is.

For these reasons, I endorse Tom Karban with no reservations. Please consider voting for him on April 4, 2023.
