Crivitz VFW Post to host cornhole tournament

Crivitz VFW Post 2063 will host a cornhole tournament on Saturday, Sept. 23 on the grounds of the Crivitz Fire Station,1211 FJ St., Crivitz.

Registration on the day of the event will begin at 10 a.m. , with an 11 a.m. start.

Entry fee is $50 per team. 

Prize money will be awarded for two categories — competitive and fun/social teams. 

Prize money in the competitive category is $500, $250 and $100. 

Prize money in the fun/social category is $100, $50 and $25. 

There will be a bouncy house for the children, raffles throughout the day, food and beverages for sale and music for all.

The station is located on County Hwy A two miles west of the village, across the street from the Crivitz Post Office.
