Crivitz Veterans Day Ceremony on Nov. 10

The annual Crivitz Veterans Day Ceremony will take place at the Crivitz High School on Friday, Nov. 10, at 10 a.m.  Attendees are asked to arrive at the school gym not later than 9:45 a.m.  The speaker for this year’s program is Crivitz native and State Representative Jeff Mursau. 

The ceremony will include the presentation of awards for the winners of the Patriot’s Pen and Voice of Democracy essay contests which are co-sponsored the Crivitz VFW Post 2063 and the VFW Auxiliary.  The awards will be presented by VFW past commander, Mary Paitrick, and Auxiliary President Nora Swanson.  

Area veterans are invited to join the ceremony and be recognized by sitting in the special veteran’s seating area.
