Crivitz May Offer Police Chief Job To Ida Soletske

Agenda for the Crivitz Village board meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 22 includes the possibility of hiring Coleman Police Chief Ida Soletske to fill the vacant police chief position for Crivitz.
Other agenda items for the 6 p.m. meeting include the 2022 Crivitz Rescue Squad agreement to provide medical services; discussion and possible action on the police department policy and procedures manual; the George Street and Anderson Ave. drainage project; blacktopping at two of the village wells; fire department equipment; wage raises for fire department employees and Water Superintendent Rudi Jensen, and a street use permit for the 2021 homecoming parade.
Also on the agenda for action are a resolution on public depositories, dog control contract, an invoice from NEA for the Richlen Subdivision road project, a picnic beer and wine license for the softball tournament and operator’s licenses for Jan Nisleit, Ashley Brady and Melissa Paris.
As usual, the agenda provides for other old and new business correspondence, comments from pre-registered citizens and taxpayers, and questions from the floor. The meeting is available by Zoom as well as in-person.
