City of Peshtigo Fire Department Awarded Grant

The City of Peshtigo Fire Department was awarded a grant in the amount of $15,624.95 to purchase eighty-one lengths of small diameter fire hose.  The new fire hose replaces hoses that were thirty to fifty years old.  The grant was made possible by Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation.  The mission of Firehouse Subs is to impact the lifesaving capabilities, and the lives of local heroes and their communities by providing lifesaving equipment and prevention education tools to first responders, non-profits and public safety organizations.  The new hose was purchased through Pomasl Fire Equipment, Inc. in Antigo, WI.  Pictured left to right are: Duane Neuzil, Jake Drees, Jessi Swiatnicki, Dave Swiatnicki, Troy Kosobucki, and Christopher Gardon.  Chief Gardon would like to thank all firefighters involved in the grant writing process and Firehouse Subs for their continued support of first responders through the United States.
