Cheryl A. Ermis

Cheryl A. (Salewsky) Ermis, 64, of Peshtigo, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 26, 2022, with family by her side.
She was born on October 27, 1958 in Menominee, MI, to the late Lawrence and Alice (Rosene) Salewsky. On January 12, 1980, Cheryl married Al Ermis in Las Vegas, who preceded her in death in June 2015.
She was employed at Ansul until her retirement in 2017. Cheryl was a compassionate woman, enjoying her time with family and friends. Her biggest enjoyments were cooking, flowers, watching her grandkids play in sports, hosting her annual Historical Day family party, sneaking in a few Lifetime movies, and especially spoiling her grandkids during the Christmas season.
Cheryl is survived by one son, Clinton (Jaime) Ermis of Manitowoc; one daughter, Nicole (Rob) Strokos of Peshtigo; three granddaughters, MonRaye, Ginevra Ermis and Madilyn Strokos; one step-granddaughter, Hailey Radtke; two brothers, Larry (Connie) Salewsky, Menominee and Dennis (Sharon) Salewsky, Marion, MT; four sisters, Sandy (Greg) Gregerson and Lisa Salewsky, both of Peshtigo, Lori (Fran) Derocher, Nampa, ID and Karyn LaLonde, Menominee and her step-mom, Chris Salewsky of Marinette.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Donna Potter.
Visitation for Cheryl will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home, 235 E. Main St., Coleman, WI., from 9:00 A.M to 11:00 A.M. Funeral Service to begin at 11:00 A.M at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Kostreva to officiate. Burial to follow at First Baptist Cemetery, Pound.
