Chad A. Hesyc

Chad Armedos Hesyck, 44, passed away on his birthday, Monday, Feb. 13, 2023.

He was the son of Thomas (Pat) Hesyck and Corinne (Prefontaine) Hesyck, both of Marinette. At age 8, he found his passion when he picked up his brother’s Sears guitar. He was a gifted self-taught artist, equally adept at recording and producing others. He always encouraged others to hone their crafts.

Along with his parents, Thomas and Corinne, he is survived by a brother, Adam (Lana Kakuk) of De Pere,; two loves of his life Laura Johnson of Wildrose and daughter, Marley Long of Bellingham, Wa.; two uncles, Jeff (Theresa) Prefontaine of Menominee, Mi. and Rick Hesyck of Seattle, Wa.; his aunt, Carole Baker of Tacoma, Wa.; a step-sister, Stacy Reiswitz and his life-long friend, Crystal LaValley.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Armedos and Helen Prefontaine; paternal grandparents, Frank and Mary Hesyck; three uncles, Neil Prefontaine, Frank Hesyck and Michael Hesyck and a step-brother, Tony Camps.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cadieu Funeral Home of Menominee is assisting the family.
