Bryan L. Gutknecht
Bryan Lee Gutknecht, 79, of Marinette, passed away Tuesday Sept. 12, 2023.
Born Oct. 31, 1943 in Milwaukee, to Norman and Anita (Ott) Gutknecht, he graduated from Custer High School and later served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam.
He worked in the printing business for Perry Gugler and was a driver for Wisconsin Lift Truck. Before retiring he enjoyed driving people to doctor appointments at the various clinics and hospitals.
He enjoyed photography, landscaping, baseball, playing and coaching softball and attending county fairs and parades with his many friends and family. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and ability to tell a good joke. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Marinette.
Survivors include two children, Bradd (Christie) Gutknecht and Kathryn (Len) Pettis; step-daughter, Johanna (Sam) Zuehls; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and two sisters, Shirley (Dick) Underberg and Sharon Uschold.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Anita and a brother, Wes.
A Celebration of Life/Open House will be held held Saturday, Sept. 30 at N165W19527 Partridge Path, Jackson, Wi. from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
A Visitation will be held at Cadieu Funeral Home in Menominee, Mi. on Saturday Oct. 28 from 11 a.m. until time of Military Honors conducted by the Military 20 Year Club at 1 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service, with Rev. Doug Schoen presiding.
