Barbara P. Christian

Barbara P. (Sauve) Christian, 86, of Brookfield, Wi., formerly of Marinette, passed away Monday, Aug. 22, 2022.

Born April 6, 1936 in Menominee, Mi., she was a graduate of Marinette Catholic Central High School and worked as a Nursing Supervisor at Milwaukee County Mental Health Center until retirement. She was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church and sang in the St. Dominic Choir.

She was the beloved wife of 59 years to Ronald; Dear mother of Paul and Michele (Chad) Schaefer; grandmother of Ayla, Ava, Anya, Alia, and James; sister of Ted (the late Agnes) Sauve, the late Jean (the late Elmer) Lauer, the late Dona Jr. (Ellen) Sauve, the late Earnest (the late Bea) Sauve, the late Richard (the late Helen) Sauve; sister-in-law of Robert Christian and Karen Carlson.

Visitation was held Monday, Aug. 29 at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Brookfield, Wi., from 10:30 a.m. until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m.

Entombment took place at Wisconsin Memorial Park. Memorials can be made to the Elmbrook Humane Society. Harder Funeral Home of Brookfield assisted the family with arrangements.
