Aspyn Maye from Coleman Wins Two First Place National Titles

Aspyn Maye from Coleman, Wisconsin competed at the 2022 International Barrel Racing Association’s National Finals recently in Cloverdale, Indiana. She won two 1st place National Titles in the ID Division on Wednesday where she won a IBRA belt buckle and a saddle. These wins qualified her to compete in the IBRA National Finals which were held on Saturday, Oct. 8.  Aspyn took 5th place in the ID division while competing against over 500 of the top barrel racers from across the country. At age 10, Aspyn was the youngest winner in the competition earning more than $5,000 in cash prizes throughout the 4 day barrel racing event. She rides for Stargazer Boarding Stables in Marinette, Wisconsin. Aspyn Maye has trained her 6 year old mare, River to be a top barrel racing horse over the past 14 months.   These wins qualified Aspyn to compete next year at the IBRA National Barrel Racing Finals which will be held in Cloverdale, Indiana.
