Area community takes part in the Bellin Run in Green Bay

GREEN BAY - Runners and walkers took to the streets of Green Bay on Saturday, June 8 for the 48th annual Bellin Run, which featured a 5K option for the second straight year alongside the traditional 10K race. The event saw a repeat champion in the men’s 10K, while the women’s title was claimed by a Bellin Run newcomer. A release with details is attached.

Green Bay’s Zach Kubicki took the overall top spot during the run with a time of 17:33. Some area runners who placed times near the top of the standings were Marinette’s Brian Cleven with a time of 20:26 to finish in the overall 9th spot. Pound’s Brandon Pagel placed 139th with a time of 28:13. Suring’s Jackson Regal placed 150th with a time of 28:30. Menominee’s Kyle Brown took the 185 spot with a time of 29:20. Coleman’s Emily Seewald placed 265 with a time of 30:51. Marinette’s  Leeann Limberg and Robert Limberg placed 372 and 373 respectively with equal times of 32:49. Marinette’s Jason Nystrom finished 401 overall with a time of 33:19. Saige Bristol posted a 407 overall finish with a time of 33:27. Oconto’s Eila Pagel came in 415 with a time of 33:36. Suring’s Carley Geniesse finished 417th with a time of 33:36. Peshtigo’s Derek and Rylee Monnette finished 492 and 493 respectively. Suring’s Aiden Shepard crossed the finish line in 37:00 for a place of 630th overall while Suring’s Markus Lambrecht finished 638th with a time of 37:03.
