27 Years…5 Runner Ups…FINALLY STATE CHAMPIONS

The Marinette Marines High School Boys Bowling Team captured 1st place honors last weekend at the Div. 2 State High School Bowling Tournament held at Dale’s Weston Lanes in Weston. The Marines entered the Championship round as the 2nd seed. The Marines would defeat Antigo in the 2 game Championship series 368 to 341 total pins. Kaylee Behrendt represented the Marines in the Girls Single competition earning honors by capturing a 6th place finish out of a field of 58 bowlers.  Behrendt ended the weekend with a 6 game series of 1122 pins.
