Seven errors contributed to a 6-0 loss for Marinette in the team’s opening game of the 2023 Wisconsin American Legion AAA State Baseball Tournament on Tuesday.
The Sheboygan half of the first inning started with two straight errors to put runners on, and both of those players would come around to score.
Post 39 starting pitcher Justin Kruse pitched 4.1 innings and allowed five runs, but none were earned. He walked one batter and allowed five hits, striking out three.
